Sonic Mantra is an Australian rock and roll band renown for their catchy rock music and captivating visuals.

 

Their debut single ‘Always’ won Best Rock Music Video at the 2025 International Music Video Awards before its official release. The music video is acclaimed as a short film in itself, gaining traction in the Australian film festival circuit. Directed by award winning producer Matthew C Vella, ‘Always’ garnered a nomination for Best Director and Best Music Video and won the latter, at a Sydney short film festival screening in major Australian cinemas.

 

Sonic Mantra presents ‘Always’ as the soundtrack to a psychological thriller inspired by Charles Perrault’s ‘Little Red Riding Hood’. The film stars Australian actress Amelia Conway as ‘Little Red’, whose unhinged behaviour spirals from reality as predator turns to prey. The finely detailed and meticulously executed short film is a glimpse into the full artistic vision of Sonic Mantra.

Early recognition for the first single ‘Always’ has set high expectations for their upcoming debut album ‘SYNAESTHESIA’. The album features world class, Grammy-winning drummer Mike Mangini, whose charismatic energy and technical precision will not disappoint fans.
